As I write this I am already a third of the way through this challenge. I am learning a lot about myself and my design process. I honestly didn't think I wanted to make a ton of floral patterns, but once I got going I really started to enjoy creating florals in new and interesting ways. Go figure. I also keep coming back to clean lines and geometrics, but when I'm challenged to create something more organic like my octopus design on day 30 for the Make It In Design Winter School, I surprise myself. Designing is funny like that. You think you have your aesthetic down and then you get thrown a curveball. You find something new that's interesting and you are curious. That's ok. Be curious and explore or amazing things like my octopus pattern my not come to be.
Many of you have asked and yes, I will be uploading all of these patterns to my Spoonflower shop in the next few weeks. I will let you know when they are available for purchase. Thank you so much for supporting me as I journey through this challenge. I'm having a blast and learning a lot.
